Traditional Lebanese House (Akkar, Lebanon)

This house is located in a Lebanese Village in the Northern Governorate, surrounded by nature and a beautiful mountain view.

The underlying concept of the Lebanese residential architecture is its organic integration with the surrounding landscape and its response to the natural aesthetics. The architectural characteristics of the Traditional Lebanese Home include:

  1. The usage of windows with segmental arch, and with the simple rectangular shape.

  2. The usage of red bricks on the roofs.

  3. The usage of white stone as a main material for construction.
